Poland

What a beautiful place. Poland is gorgeous with so many flowers!

Warsaw is the main capital and we saw dignitaries in and out of the city. Something's going on with the government. Don't know for sure, but there was a protest outside of the park by the university.

We saw the Warsaw Ghetto, what's left of it, and the Old Town.

Sticky was sad at the Ghetto, but then he got happy again when he had an ice cream at Old town. Later on, Sticky was having a bad fur day and refused to have his picture taken. I tried to get some when he wasn't looking. There's a picture of him lounging at the pool, and at the site of Old Town.

Berlin/Warsaw

Well, we made it from Berlin to Warsaw. We have seen so many things!! It is a mix of beauty and bitterness. The one thing I notice so much is the American influence. It has overrun so much. You can't go anywhere without seeing Coca Cola, however, I am thankful for Starbucks and their wifi!

Sticky has drunk alot of coffee! I'll try to show you a photo of sticky on the train if I can post it! There's also a pic of Sticky at the Berlin wall trail. There's only one section of the wall standing, but they put bricks alont the trail. Sticky took the picture of the soldier at Checkpoint Charlie.

OMG! (that's oh my goodness for me...) London is incredible! Sticky is having so much fun! Got a couple of pictures at the airport, and once we got into London, he just HAD to have his picture taken on Abbey Road! We went over to Picadilly Circus, which is alot like Times Square in New York. Then we headed over to the Imperial War Museum. Wow. They have a Holocaust exhibit that is incredible. Too much to blog, but we saw these sites: The London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Parliament, and the Tower of London, just to mention a few...

Let's see if I can add some pics for you! Next stop is Berlin!

Sunday

Okay, it's really about to happen. I've packed and repacked a dozen times. I've called my nephew to see if he wants Coke or Diet Coke. He's my kittysitter and overall security guard. He gets a quiet place to study while we travel.

How many tiny bottles of shampoo do we need? I'm still a little confused about those electrical converters. I'm not sure what to pack for Sticky. He's not a demanding little doggie, (he doesn't know he's a dog). I tried to feed him earlier, but I could tell he was stuffed, so I backed off from that. Maybe he's just nervous.
